We have been creating stunning cakes since 2008, and in 2017, we opened the doors of our charming shop located in the heart of Eastbourne. Our Shop
Our shop, located at 24 South Street in Eastbourne, is a welcoming and friendly space where you can talk cakes, classes, and all things baking. We have a beautiful little garden where you can sit and relax, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Our open kitchen allows you to watch us bake and create, while you breathe in the incredible smell of freshly baked goods.
A Little History
We met at the Norwich School of Art and Design back in 2000, where Helen studied Fine Art and Ollie specialised in Graphic Design, focusing on Animation. After moving back to Eastbourne, Helen started making cakes from home in 2008 as Helen Brown Cakes. As the business grew, Ollie joined in, and we decided to make it official by changing the business name to The Incredible Cake Company in 2016. The name was initially conceived as a nod to "The Incredible Hulk", rather than a boast about our cakes. However, we quickly realised that the name was justified when so many people used the word "incredible" to describe our cakes.
When the opportunity to open a shop arose, we jumped at the chance. The shop, previously a hairdressers and then empty for about three years, required a lot of hard work and a skip to transform it into the beautiful space it is today. We couldn't have done it without the help of our family and friends, and we are eternally grateful for their support.
We are proud to have been serving the Eastbourne community for six years and have enjoyed getting to know our customers, many of whom have become friends. We work hard to create stunning cakes that are tailored to your individual style, and we look forward to meeting you.
