Welcome to Dunfermline Golf Club, Fife's premier parkland course. Situated in the picturesque village of Crossford, the golf club has a 6121-yard, par 72 course set in the spectacular rolling woodlands of Pitfirrane Castle. Our club also boasts a par 3 nine-hole course that provides a challenge to the best of short games. What is surely the oldest golf clubhouse in the world is situated in the Castle itself, which dates back to 1583, and is blessed with stunning views over the golf course. The golf club is also open to visitors all year round. The course is open, with the following restrictions: Preferred Lies are OFF, all buggies permitted.
The reviewers praised the course's excellent condition, warm and welcoming clubhouse, and good food and drink options.
Some reviewers mentioned that the 9-hole course could do with more treatment on some of the greens, but overall, the negative comments were minimal.
