Hertford Museum is a charity reliant on grants and donations from visitors and supporters to meet weekly running costs of around 4,000. The Museum cares for over 100,000 objects, comprising archaeology, paper ephemera, ethnography, fine art, geology, natural history, photographs, social history, and the Hertfordshire Regiment collection. We also hold the Addis company archive, including the largest collection of toothbrushes in the world. Our collections are used to create engaging exhibitions and events for the public, and our venue is also available for hire for meetings, team training, and other events.
The Hertford Museum offers a warm welcome, rich history, and a variety of interactive exhibits and activities for both children and adults.
