Welcome to Port Askaig Hotel, a picturesque, family run Highland Inn on the shores of the Sound of Islay, overlooking the pier at which daily car ferries berth on arrival from the Scottish mainland. Due to its proximity to the ferry, the hotel offers easy access to Jura, Colonsay and the mainland. The hotel has been in family ownership for over 50 years. The old drove inn offers a mix of 13 double/twin/family rooms + 1 single room - all with en-suite facilities. The annex has two completely refurbished en-suite rooms which are now available on B&B basis, both have stunning views over the small harbour and Sound of Islay to the Isle of Jura. Guests resident in the annex have shared use of a small tv lounge. Quality malts and fresh seafood are also available. With comfortable rooms, quality dining, and a relaxed atmosphere, Port Askaig Hotel is the perfect place to stay on the Isle of Islay.
