Jamyang is a community wellbeing hub in Holbeck, South Leeds, providing a place for the study and practice of Tibetan Buddhism in the Mahayana tradition. We offer a range of courses and guided practices in Buddhism, including Vajrayana traditions, and serve as a community wellbeing centre. Our community is welcoming and inclusive, offering a range of activities such as meditation classes, yoga, Buddhist study, community events, and more. Our centre also features a relaxed and welcoming vegetarian cafe, a shop with dharma supplies and books, and a well-stocked Buddhist library. We are a registered charity and have been established since 1996.
Positive comments highlight the centre's welcoming atmosphere, the variety of meditation sessions, and the opportunity to learn about Buddhism.
