Community Counselling is an independent charity based in Ryedale, providing a range of counselling services to people living in Ryedale, Scarborough Borough Districts, and North Yorkshire. Our services aim to provide counselling and other therapeutic interventions for individuals, while also offering education and training for counsellors. We work with the local community to address mental health concerns, making our services accessible through referrals from statutory or voluntary agencies or self-referrals. With multiple service options, including online, telephone, and face-to-face sessions, we strive to meet the diverse needs of our clients. Our services are in high demand, and there may be a wait of 6-8 weeks before we can see you for assessment and commencing counselling. Sessions are 50 minutes long and held at the same time each week.
