Gosforth Civic Theatre is an independent arts venue, cafe bar, events space and community hub located three miles north of Newcastle upon Tyne city centre. The venue was founded by disability arts charity Liberdade community development trust in 2016 and programmes high-quality theatre, memorable live music events, and diverse performances. The theatre is committed to making the arts accessible to all, including people with disabilities. In addition to its main programme, GCT also offers venue hire, job opportunities, and a variety of community activities.
