Uckfield & District Preservation Society is a charity that runs Bridge Cottage Heritage Centre and Nutley Windmill, offering a range of services including event hosting, exhibitions, education outreach, and charity shop. Bridge Cottage Heritage Centre is a medieval Wealden Hall House built in 1436, hosting various local history and community events, and is also available for private hire. Nutley Windmill is the oldest working open-trestle post mill in the country. The society also holds an archive of 19th and 20th century documents and photographs, and offers room hire for meetings, conferences, weddings, and civil ceremonies.
