Empowering children to shine, one smile at a time.
Who We Are
Welcome to St Andrew's Pre-school Caversham, a charity formed as an alliance between parents and staff based in St Andrew's Church Hall in Caversham Heights. Our pre-school was established in 1968 and over the years has grown into a successful, Ofsted Outstanding rated Pre-school. We believe our role in the community is to be the first contact parents have with the educational ladder.
Our Ethos
At St Andrew's Pre-school, we aim to provide a safe, caring and inclusive environment where children will develop to their full potential. We believe that self-esteem and confidence are reinforced by praise and encouragement, allowing children to become more independent and self-reliant as they progress through pre-school. We offer this in a fun environment, learning key life skills like sharing, socialising and the foundations of literacy and numeracy, through a mix of interactive play and structured key group time.
