Early Years Education
Our curriculum follows the Early Years Foundation Stage framework while incorporating the Curiosity Approach. Children engage in structured yet flexible learning through play-based activities that develop literacy, numeracy, and social skills. Qualified staff create individualized learning plans to support each child's developmental milestones.
Outdoor Learning
Extensive gardens feature age-specific play areas with water play, mud kitchens, and construction zones. Children explore seasonal changes through vegetable planting and sensory gardens. Outdoor activities promote physical development, risk assessment, and environmental awareness in all weather conditions.
Key Person Care
Each child is assigned a dedicated key person responsible for their well-being and progress. This system ensures consistent communication with parents about developmental achievements and individual needs. Regular updates maintain strong home-nursery partnerships throughout the child's early years.
Sensory Activities
Our sensory room and outdoor spaces provide multi-sensory experiences using natural materials and recycled resources. Activities stimulate touch, sight, sound, and movement to enhance cognitive development. Calm, tranquil environments support emotional regulation and creative exploration for children of all abilities.
Seasonal Learning
Children learn about seasonal changes through hands-on gardening and outdoor exploration. The nursery's vegetable patches and sensory gardens provide practical experiences with planting, harvesting, and observing wildlife. Seasonal themes are integrated into daily activities to develop environmental awareness and scientific curiosity.
