At Bishopdown Farm Pre-school & Farm Friends, we are dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. Our purpose-built pre-school is located in the heart of Salisbury, and we have been serving the local community since 2016. Our aim is to provide an educationally rich and engaging experience for children from 2 to 5 years old, while also promoting social and emotional development.

Pre-school Curriculum: Our curriculum is designed to be engaging, interactive, and fun, with a focus on early child development. Our experienced and qualified staff deliver a carefully planned and structured programme that is tailored to meet the individual needs of each child.
Wrap-around Care: In addition to our pre-school provision, we also offer a wrap-around care service for working parents. This includes breakfast and after-school clubs, providing a safe and nurturing environment for children.
Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) Support: We are an inclusive setting and recognize the diverse educational needs within our community. We provide appropriate support and interventions to promote equality of opportunity for all children.

Term Dates and Opening Times
We operate for 38 weeks each year, inline with Wiltshire Council school term times. Our term dates and opening times are listed below:
Term Dates: Autumn 2022 - 1 September to 16 December; Spring 2023 - 3 January to 31 March; Summer 2023 - 17 April to 21 July.
Opening Times: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 12:30 pm (with extended hours available for working parents).
Special Needs and Disability
We recognize that every child is unique and has individual needs. We believe that every child should have the opportunity to learn and grow, regardless of their abilities. Our staff receive regular training to support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), and we work closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to provide tailored support and interventions.
