Puddleducks Pre-school

Puddleducks Pre-School is a childcare setting located in an idyllic woodland location, based in the grounds of Harnham Infant School in Salisbury. We provide excellent childcare and early years education in a rich and stimulating environment for children aged 2-5 years. Our dedicated and enthusiastic staff team are well-qualified and ably supported by our Manager. We believe that every child is an individual, and this uniqueness is at the heart of everything we do at Puddleducks Pre-School.

Our Approach

At Puddleducks, we pride ourselves on delivering excellent standards of care and early education. We achieve this by providing a unique environment that supports children's learning and development both indoors and out. Our curriculum and approach to learning are designed to develop self-esteem and independence, enabling children to take their place in society as happy, confident individuals.

Our Facilities

We have two rooms, both fitted with their own facilities, enabling children to discover in their own specially designed environment. Our rooms are designed to provide a stimulating and engaging atmosphere where children can learn and grow. We also have two outdoor areas, one designated for our youngest children in our Ducklings room and the other for our children in the Ducks room. Both rooms have their own outdoor area and children are encouraged to free-flow between indoors and out throughout the day. We also share the woodland area which has many different activities and learning opportunities from a large mud kitchen to a custom-made teepee, to our own chickens.

Meet the Team

At Puddleducks, we have a dedicated team of staff who are passionate about delivering high-quality care and education to our children. Our staff are well-qualified and experienced in Early Years education. Our Owner and Manager, Kirsty, has over 18 years of experience in Early Years and has worked in many different roles throughout her career. Kirsty is supported by a team of staff who are all passionate about working with children and providing a unique and fun learning environment.

We work very closely with Parents/Carers and have fantastic relationships with each of our families, providing support, guidance, and a friendly face each and every day.
