For work that can be surveyed in advance, we provide a fixed written price before starting.
We carry out Electrical Installation Condition Reports across Aberdeenshire for homes, rented flats, HMOs, holiday lets and rural properties including farmhouses and steadings. Inspection and testing covers the electrical installation, followed by a report suitable for tenancy, licensing, purchase or insurance purposes. Our published rates reflect the number of boards and circuits, with most bookings completed within 5 to 10 working days.
We undertake routine electrical inspections and maintenance to help ensure systems remain safe, compliant and efficient. Our electricians assess the condition of essential components and identify potential issues before they develop into costly problems. Preventive work, including load testing, insulation checks, connection tightening and component cleaning, helps extend system lifespan while reducing the likelihood of breakdowns.
We provide fuse box upgrades for domestic properties, farmhouses and rental homes, replacing older fuse boxes and consumer units with new boards. Our typical domestic upgrades start from 550 + VAT, with larger or more involved boards costing up to about 950 + VAT. Most single-board homes are completed within one working day, followed by full testing and an Electrical Installation Certificate.
We provide full and partial rewiring for houses, flats and rented homes. Our work includes replacing old circuits, installing new sockets, switches and ceiling roses, fitting a new consumer unit, checking protective bonding and testing every circuit. We finish each rewire with an Electrical Installation Certificate to BS c:2018+A4:2026.
We provide professional outdoor lighting services designed to enhance the beauty, safety and functionality of your exterior spaces. Our team designs and installs high-quality, energy-efficient lighting for gardens, pathways, driveways and other outdoor areas. We can highlight landscape features, improve security and create an inviting atmosphere. Our tailored solutions bring your outdoor lighting vision to life.
Homes, farms and holiday lets throughout Aberdeenshire can benefit from our 7.4kW smart EV charger installation service, starting at 900 + VAT. Up to 15 metres of cable is included, allowing for installations involving detached garages and outbuildings. We first carry out a free survey to assess the earthing, supply and proposed cable route. Standard work is normally booked within 5 to 10 working days.
We install solar panel systems for domestic, agricultural and small business properties, with fully installed 3 to 4kWp systems starting from 7,000. The work begins with a free assessment of the roof, followed normally within one working day by a fixed written quotation. Most household installations take one to two days, with battery storage available as an additional option.
Our commercial electrical service covers business premises requiring installation, inspection, maintenance or repair. We undertake electrical fit outs, three phase supplies, distribution work, emergency lighting, planned maintenance and workplace EV charging. We also provide PAT testing, fault finding and repairs. Following a free survey, we provide a written scope with a fixed price, while commercial EICRs start at 300 + VAT.

Steven was at our house 10 minutes after the call, and continued the next day to resolve our electrical fault. Although he was very busy, he committed to working on our house Saturday. He managed to fix a fault which had been bothering us intermittently for years, with light and ring main tripping. Exceptionally helpful and dedicated, my wife and I are very grateful.
Highly recommended, Many thanks, Rick Rastall, Roanheads Peterhead.

I had several electrical jobs needing attending to. I contacted Faithful Sparks and Steven came. He was earlier than expected- which is very rare these days and very much appreciated. He was very professional and friendly. A few weeks later I had to use Faithful Sparks and Steven helped me again. Very proficient. I cannot rate Faithful Sparks highly enough. Thank you Steven. Not 10 out of 10 but 20 out of 10. Mrs Kathleen Willox.

They were professional, punctual and clearly knowledgeable. The work was carried out to a high standard, everything was explained clearly, and they left the area clean and tidy once finished. Communication was excellent from start to finish and pricing was fair for the quality of work delivered.

Excellent and very helpful. Had my kitchen and consumer unit rewired. Due to working away it had to be done in various stages as I was doing all the non electrical work myself. Steve Ewan and Lewis had a number of visits and they were all very professional and I have honestly never seen such neat and tidy wiring. Excellent local company and highly recommended

I have no hesitation in giving Faithful Spark 5 stars. As a landlord I have had a lot of experience with tradesmen over the years, and I can honestly say my experience with Steven has been outstanding. The job I gave Steven was not an easy one and the communication has been exceptional, with Steven regularly keeping me up to date with progress and resolution to issues as they have arisen. I would not hesitate to recommend Faithful Spark as a top class electrician in the Aberdeenshire area.

Just wanted to give a huge shout-out to Steven the electrician! He came to our flat last minute in the middle of a very cold start to winter to fix our broken heaters. He walked us through everything he was checking, explained what he found and was incredibly thorough the whole time. Best part? He fixed the issue right then and there in the same appointment!
Were definitely calling him for any future electrical problems, seriously cant recommend him enough.

Would highly recommend Stephen for any work. Couple of jobs done in the last week at short notice and he went out of his way to carry out what was required. Went above and beyond to get the parts needed to ensure work was completed the same day. First class service and work would have no hesitation in using Stephen again for any electrical work that needs done

I had Steven from Faithful Spark Electricians supply and fit a home EV charger. Very nice guy and very knowledgable and methodical in how he works. Job done to a very high standard for a more than reasonable price and even ensured the place was tidy before he left. He'll definitely be my go-to electrician from now on. Thanks so much.

Faithful Spark Electricians went above and beyond to carry out a couple electrical jobs, 1 inside and 1 outside of my house. He was such a nice guy, very concerned about making sure my house was tidied up after his jobs which was lovely. He went out of his way to make sure a good job was done too. The aftercare has been fantastic and the work carried out was very quick and great value. Will definitely be a returning customer and would highly recommend.

We at Peterhead Property Letting Agency received a speedy and efficient service from Faithful Spark Electricians. They kept us informed every step of the way on the repairs they recently carried out at a rental property to renew an Electrical Installation Condition Report detailing the need and cost of various works and providing photographs.
We found them to be reasonably priced whilst at the same time providing a top class professional service. Would highly recommend them
