Pre-school Sessions and Policies

First Steps Pre-school Driffield offers education and care for children below school age and over the age of two. Our pre-school sessions and policies accommodate up to 28 children of mixed ages at specific times. We are open five days a week and welcome children from all backgrounds, operating a waiting list based on your child's age.

Our pre-school sessions are organised to enable children to choose from a range of activities, building their ability to select and work through a task to its completion. Additionally, we introduce children to new experiences and skills through adult-led small and large group activities, promoting social interaction and teamwork.

Snacks and Lunches

We offer a healthy snack selection to children during snack time, providing the energy required to get through the day. An optional lunchtime is available for older children, during which they can eat their packed lunch with the staff. Please inform us of any special dietary requirements.

Policies

Policies are available for viewing at the pre-school. We prioritise the health, safety, and well-being of all children in our care and adhere to strict policies concerning equal opportunities, behaviour, and safeguarding.
