Pet Vaccinations
Protect pets from preventable diseases through tailored vaccination schedules. Our core vaccines cover distemper, leptospirosis, and feline leukaemia. We provide puppy/kitten courses, adult boosters, and travel vaccinations. All appointments include health checks and lifestyle advice to ensure optimal protection for dogs, cats, and rabbits.
Wellness Screening
Early detection programme for mature pets. Includes blood/urine tests, dental checks, and mobility assessments. Identifies hidden conditions like kidney disease in cats over 7 years and dogs over 5 years. Annual screening recommended to maintain long-term health and catch issues before symptoms appear.
Dentistry
Comprehensive oral health services including scale and polish under anaesthesia. Treats tartar buildup, gingivitis, and tooth decay. Offers preventative advice on brushing techniques and dental diets. Emergency extractions performed when required to relieve pain and prevent further complications in pets showing signs of dental disease.
Home Visits
Veterinary consultations conducted at client residences for eligible cases. Available with prior notice for routine check-ups or urgent situations where transportation is difficult. Equipped to perform basic examinations and treatments while maintaining the same professional standards as in-clinic appointments.
Nurse Clinics
Dedicated appointments led by veterinary nurses for specific needs. Includes senior cat clinics, puppy advice sessions, nutrition consultations, and golden oldies canine assessments. Provides tailored guidance on diet, mobility, and preventative care without requiring a full veterinary consultation.
Questions
Do you offer 24-hour emergency services?
Yes, we partner with Highland Vet Emergencies for 24-hour emergency care. Their Inverness facility provides immediate treatment when we're closed, staffed by experienced vets and nurses.
What vaccination schedules do you recommend?
Puppies require two initial vaccines 3-4 weeks apart, kittens two vaccines 3-4 weeks apart, and rabbits annual boosters. We provide tailored schedules during consultations based on age, lifestyle, and health status.
How does the Pet Health Club work?
Our subscription plan spreads routine care costs monthly via direct debit. Includes core vaccines, flea/worm treatments, six-month health checks, and discounts on dental work and neutering. Available in Essential and Plus tiers.
Can I schedule home visits?
Home visits require prior arrangement and depend on medical suitability. We recommend clinic visits for better equipment access, but offer home consultations when transportation proves challenging for pet or owner.
What's included in wellness screening?
Comprehensive checks covering blood tests, urine analysis, dental exams, mobility assessments, and parasite protection reviews. Takes 30 minutes and includes follow-up advice on nutrition, vaccinations, and preventative care.
Do you treat exotic pets?
We provide basic care for rabbits and small animals. For specialist exotic pet requirements, we recommend consulting practices with dedicated exotic animal departments while offering referral support when needed.
