Our Story

Our journey began in 1950 when Harold and Betty Robertson established The 1066 Bakery in Castle Hill Road, Hastings. Since then, we've grown and expanded, with each generation building upon the family roots. Today, we're proud to have multiple locations, including our shop in Hastings Town Centre and our bakery just outside of Hastings Town.

We also offer tailored catering services for any event, working around your needs to ensure that your guests are impressed.

In addition to our bakery products, we're also proud to have a number of cafes and coffee houses, including our unique Double Decker Cafe in St. Leonards. Whether you're looking for a quick snack or a leisurely lunch, we've got you covered.
