Trusted Youth & Parent Counselling Services in Basingstoke
Y P I Counselling is a registered charity dedicated to providing confidential mental health support to young people aged 11-25 and parents in the Basingstoke and Deane area. Established in 2000, we have grown from offering limited weekly sessions to delivering thousands of counselling hours annually. Our services include one-to-one counselling, mentoring, and psycho-educational activities, delivered by a team of qualified professionals and volunteers. We collaborate with local schools, healthcare providers, and community organisations to address emotional and mental health challenges such as anxiety, self-esteem issues, and family conflicts. Our mission is to empower individuals to manage their mental health positively through tailored support.

As a locally governed charity, we prioritise community engagement and ethical practices, ensuring accessibility regardless of financial circumstances. Our board of trustees brings expertise in governance, finance, and risk management, while our clinical leadership ensures service excellence. We rely on grants, donations, and fundraising to maintain free services for young people, with parent sessions offered at a subsidised rate. Our vision is to create a community where mental health support is universally accessible, fostering resilience and personal growth.
