At Ministeps Nursery, we are dedicated to providing a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children aged 3 months to 5 years. Our mission is to support the development of each child, fostering their physical, emotional, and intellectual growth through play-based learning.

Our Services

We offer a range of services designed to cater to the unique needs of our young charges. Our carefully designed rooms are tailored to meet the developmental stage and individual needs of each child. Whether it's our Infant's, Toddler's, or Pre-School room, each space is carefully planned to provide a stimulating and engaging environment that fosters learning and exploration.

Infant's Room (3 months - 18 months)

Our Infant's room is a homely environment designed to provide the highest comfort and care for our little ones. We tailor our activities to meet the ever-changing needs of each baby, ensuring their individual requirements are met daily. Our babies engage in stimulating activities that include sensory exploration, creativity, storytelling, and social and emotional play.

Toddler's Room (18 months - 3 years)

Our Toddler's room is an exciting space where children can enhance their individual personalities and skills. All daily activities are designed to incorporate the seven areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage and are delivered in an enjoyable and imaginative way, tailored around each child's personal interests and abilities. To provide further learning opportunities, we offer continuous free flow into our outside environment, allowing children to explore and learn in a wider way.

Pre-School Room (3 years - 5 years)

Our Pre-School room is designed to support the learning journey of our children as they prepare to transition to school. We endeavour to support their independence and self-service skills, encouraging early reading and writing skills and problem-solving. Children also have regular access to our sensory room, where they can relax and stimulate their senses.

Sensory Room

Our sensory room is designed to provide children with a stimulating environment, promoting relaxation and magical experiences. The room is equipped with a selection of sounds, textured surfaces, and visual, contrasting colours, allowing children to engage their five senses and enhance their personal development.

Menu

We believe that every child deserves a healthy, balanced diet consisting of nutritious foods that provide variety and choice. Our meals are freshly prepared on the premises by a qualified chef and cater for children with special dietary requirements. Meal times are seen as a social and learning experience where children are encouraged to try new foods, learn about how food is sourced, and the importance of healthy eating.

Partnership with Parents

We welcome our parents as partners and encourage your participation within nursery life to create the best possible outcomes for your child. Our key worker system is designed to provide you with a sense of continuity for your child's care and learning, and we believe that effective communication is key to building a strong partnership.
