Learn to Swim, Learn for Life
At Aquarius Swimschool, we are passionate about teaching people of all ages and abilities the invaluable skill of swimming. Our Swimschool was founded in 2000 by Lisa Bousted, a mother of four, who is dedicated to providing high-quality swimming lessons to the community. Over the years, we have grown from strength to strength, with a team of over 20 teachers who have taught over 10,000 children and adults to swim.
Our Services
We offer a range of swimming lessons for all ages, from babies to adults. Our lessons are designed to be fun, interactive, and tailored to each individual's needs and abilities. We offer group lessons, private lessons, and stroke/stamina development lessons. Additionally, we have introduced new and exciting classes such as Mermaid, Merman, and Mono Fin classes, which are perfect for swimmers who want to learn new skills and have fun in the water.
Our Team
Our team of highly qualified and experienced teachers are passionate about teaching swimming and are dedicated to helping our students achieve their goals. Our team is led by Lisa Bousted, who is a trained ASA, STA, and Asutswim (Australia) swim teacher, Aquafit and baby & pre-school teacher. She is also a tutor for the STA tutoring swimming qualifications and first aid. Our team is committed to providing a supportive and encouraging environment for all our students.
Our Facilities
We operate from SMART Swim Centre, South Molton pool, which offers state-of-the-art facilities and a warm and welcoming environment. We are proud to offer FREE memberships to all children aged 15 and under, allowing them to enjoy public swims at the pool.

Positive Feedback
The reviews highlight a sense of family and warmth, with students feeling part of an extended family and encouraged to grow in skill and strength. Lessons are engaging and taught by competent staff, making it a wonderful experience for both children and parents.
Negative Feedback
However, there are concerns about the time spent swimming in lessons being inadequate, with some students waiting in line for a long time in cold conditions, affecting their experience and willingness to continue.
