Our secure and tranquil countryside setting, situated on a non-working farm, provides a safe haven for children to explore and learn, away from the dangers of traffic, fumes, and houses.
Our Services
At Claylands Nursery, we offer a range of services designed to provide the best possible start for your child. Our qualified primary teacher-led pre-school provides 1140 free hours of pre-school education to Edinburgh and West Lothian children, with a focus on outdoor learning and play. Our baby room, toddler room, and pre-school room are staffed by specialist, fully qualified teams who are dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment.
Our facilities are extensive, with large gardens, secure paddocks, and a mini-beast garden, providing endless opportunities for children to explore and experience nature. Our playrooms are stocked with natural resources, reflecting our commitment to open-ended, natural play. We also provide home-cooked meals and snacks, prepared daily by our nursery cook/housekeeper, in a relaxed and homely environment.
