The Commonwealth Telecommunications Organisation (CTO) serves as the oldest and largest Commonwealth member organisation dedicated to fostering the use of information and communication technologies (ICTs) for sustainable development across the Commonwealth. Established in 1960, the CTO has evolved into a vital platform for collaboration and cooperation amongst member states.

The CTO's mission is to empower member states to harness the potential of ICTs for social and economic transformation, while its vision is to ensure equitable access to and use of ICTs across the Commonwealth.
Our Work: Empowering Member States Through ICTs
The CTO's work is structured around three core operational divisions:
- Technical Support, Consultancy & Advisory Services: Providing technical guidance, capacity building, and tailored solutions to enhance ICT infrastructure and services.
- Capacity Development: Delivering training programs, workshops, and fellowships to enhance the skills and knowledge of ICT professionals.
- Events & Conferences: Organising conferences, forums, and workshops to foster collaboration, exchange knowledge, and promote best practices.
