The story of Hartswood Letting Agents begins in the late months of March, 1986. Michael Thomas, having just returned home from Hartswood Tennis Club, found himself contemplating his next move after being made redundant from a senior management role at the BBC. His neighbour's garden, which had been neglected since he was posted overseas on Diplomatic duties, caught his eye. Michael offered to tidy it up, and during a conversation with his friend, he mentioned his desire to start a new venture. His friend joked that he wished his Estate Agent was as conscientious as his neighbour. Two months later, Hartswood Property Management was born, solely dedicated to Lettings & Property Management, and providing the highest level of care and attention to Landlords and Tenants.

Our Managing Director, Brian, has over 35 years of experience in the property market, and our Property Manager, Stella, has extensive knowledge of the local property market. Our finance manager, Rob, is responsible for managing the financial aspects of the business, including monthly financial reporting and the timely transfer of rental income.
