Pye Nest Day Nursery

Welcome to Creative Learning Childcare, a premier nursery facility with over 20 years of experience in providing a warm, nurturing environment for children aged six months to five years. Our journey began in 1996 with the opening of our Pye Nest nursery in Halifax, and in 2015, we expanded to our Elland location, offering the same creative, hands-on approach to childcare and learning.

At Creative Learning Childcare, we are passionate about inspiring children and helping them absorb skills, process information, and understand the world around them. Our approach is inspired by some of the world's leading philosophies for children, including Reggio, High Scope, and Forest Schools. We believe in providing a wide variety of experiences, fostering curiosity, and encouraging a 'can do' attitude in children, building their confidence and self-esteem along the way.

Our Approach

Our task, regarding creativity, is to help children climb their own mountains, as high as possible. We focus on providing the best environment for our children, and we believe in the importance of listening to the voice of the child, their parents, and our staff team. We value and nurture every child individually, offering constant support to all parents in their journey through a new experience, from their baby's first visit to nursery to the day they leave us to go to school, sharing in those precious milestones and achievements along the way.

Our Services

We offer a range of services designed to provide the best possible start in life for your child. Our Forest School, accessible to children aged 2 and above, provides hands-on experiences with natural resources and materials, promoting learning through play and exploration. Our nursery facilities are designed to be nurturing and engaging, with a range of activities and experiences tailored to each age group.

Our Staff

Our staff teams at Creative Learning Childcare are comprehensive and varied, with Early Years Teachers, graduates, under-graduates, practitioners at levels 5, 4, and 3 working alongside level 2 apprentices. We recognise that a professional and committed team of staff is essential in providing the highest quality care and education for your child.
