Garrett House Residential Care Home

Welcome to Garrett House, a grand late Victorian, early Edwardian building in Aldeburgh, Suffolk that has been transformed into a warm and friendly family-orientated home providing quality 24-hour care for our elderly residents. Our home is managed by Helen Osborne and has undergone a complete refurbishment under new ownership since December 2022. We are committed to providing a high standard of care that embraces our principles of a person-centred framework, with values of Fairness, Opportunity, and Equality for All.

Our Services

At Garrett House, we provide 39 bedrooms, all with ensuite W.C. and washing facilities for long-term/permanent residency. Our residents enjoy nutritious meals tailored to their requirements, regular activities, and 24/7 care. We also offer three lounges, a dining room, and sun terraces where our residents can chat, relax, and take in the beautiful gardens. Our care is provided by a team of well-trained staff who understand the importance of independence, dignity, and privacy for our residents. We also have access to the full range of NHS Primary Healthcare Professionals such as physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and district nurses.

Our Facilities

Our home is designed to provide a comfortable and relaxed environment for our residents. We have a large garden that is a peaceful and tranquil environment, perfect for relaxation. Our residents can also enjoy our three lounges, dining room, and sun terraces, where they can socialize and take in the beautiful surroundings. We also have specialized bathrooms throughout the home to ensure that all residents are able to enjoy a bath or shower safely and with comfort.
