Our location, nestled in three acres of Suffolk woodland, provides a peaceful and tranquil setting for our residents. This elegant house has been extensively restored to retain its original charm, complemented by tasteful decorations and furniture, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
Residential Care
Our residential care service, also known as Personal Care and Assisted Living, is tailored for individuals aged 65 and above who require support with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, medication supervision, cooking, cleaning, and mobility. We also cater to those who no longer wish to live alone or maintain their own homes. Our care is about providing peace of mind, allowing our residents to flourish, make friends, and explore new interests. Care is available 24/7 and directed by highly skilled healthcare workers.
Dementia Care
Our dementia care program is designed to focus on a person's key strengths, helping residents live active and fulfilling lives whilst with us at Glebe House. We understand that people experiencing dementia can have difficulty communicating, which can lead to isolation. Our dementia care program is there to help residents re-engage with their families, friends, and the community. It is formulated by our dementia care specialists and constantly informed by the most up-to-date research available.
Accommodation
Each room at Glebe House is centrally heated, with low heat emitting radiators, and includes en-suite bathrooms, a television, and a telephone with easily accessible waist-height power points. Rooms are carpeted and decorated to a high standard, and residents have the choice between bath or shower. We strive to ensure that all our residents are comfortable and well-cared for.
Activities
Activities are an integral part of life at Glebe House. We take a holistic approach to ensure that our residents enjoy the best possible quality of life. Our staff are actively involved in planning and participating in activities, which range from coastal walks to community welcome days. The local village of Hollesley has a good community spirit, with plenty of community activities to get involved in. There is always a well-stocked village shop and post office, a public house, and a very good bowls club a short walk away.
