After getting her first dog, Dexter the Old English Sheepdog, she discovered her interest in dog grooming and decided to make a career out of it. Sandra's love for animals, combined with her expertise in canine welfare, makes Shaggy Dogz the perfect place for your dog to receive the best care possible.
Our studio is located at 6, St. Matthews Road, Chelston, Torquay, TQ2 6JA, and we accept Visa Electron, Master Card, Maestro, American Express, and Contactless payments. We are dedicated to providing a high-quality grooming service that leaves your dog feeling happy, healthy, and looking their best.
Our Services
At Shaggy Dogz Grooming Studio, we offer a range of services to cater to your dog's specific needs. Our services include:
- Full Groom: Our full groom service includes a double wash, Blueberry facial, blow dry and fluff up, full body styling (clipping, scissoring), nail trim, paw pad treatment, and ear cleaning. This service is perfect for dogs who need a complete makeover and a thorough cleaning.
- Mini Groom: Our mini groom service is ideal for dogs who need a quick refresh between full grooms. This service includes a double wash, Blueberry facial, blow dry and fluff up, 15-minute brush out or de-shed, paw pad treatment, nail trim, and ear cleaning.
- Wash N Dry: Our wash n dry service is perfect for dogs who need a quick cleaning before or after a holiday. This service includes a double wash and blow dry.
- Puppy Groom: Our puppy groom service is designed specifically for puppies up to one year old. This service includes a sensitive puppy shampoo, blow dry and fluff up, pads, hygiene areas & sight line trim, nail trim, and ear cleaning.
In addition to our standard services, we also offer a range of extras, including nail trim, nail trim and file, de-shedding treatment, ear cleaning, sightline trim, feet trim, paw pad treatment, Blueberry facial, Banana facial, sightline & feet trim, matting charge per 15-minutes.
It is important to note that all prices are 'from' and can vary depending on the temperament of the dog and the condition of the coat. If you cannot see the breed of dog you need, please contact us for a quote. The frequency of grooming required by specific breeds may also vary.

After getting her first dog, Dexter the Old English Sheepdog, she developed an interest in dog grooming and canine welfare. Sandra's love for animals and her expertise in canine welfare make Shaggy Dogz the perfect place for your dog to receive the best care possible.
Dexter, Sandra's first dog, is a Old English Sheepdog who loves going for long walks and playing in the park. Dexter is the inspiration behind Shaggy Dogz Grooming Studio, and he is always happy to greet our clients at the studio.
