Guitar Lessons & Songwriting in Birkenshaw
Established in 1994, I have dedicated my career to teaching acoustic guitar and crafting original music. My journey began in a secondary school in Essex before transitioning to home-based tuition in Birkenshaw since 2000. Over three decades, I have guided students of all ages and abilities, from beginners to advanced players, fostering a deep appreciation for music. My teaching methodology encompasses reading notation, strumming chords, and interpreting tablature, with a repertoire spanning from The Beatles to contemporary artists. As a songwriter, my compositions have been featured on BBC Radio stations across the UK, including Leeds, Lincolnshire, and Merseyside. Five albums under my brand 'The Writers' are available on major platforms such as Spotify and Apple Music. I prioritise tailored instruction, helping students develop technical skills while exploring their creative potential. My retirement from teaching on 31st October 2024 marks the culmination of a fulfilling career dedicated to music education and artistry.
