At Rivington Foundation Primary School, we pride ourselves on our long and varied history, dating back to 457 years ago when our school was first established. As a school, we have grown and evolved over the years, adapting to the changing needs of our pupils and the community we serve.

Our Values

At Rivington Foundation Primary School, we believe in the importance of living life to its fullest and making a difference along the way. Our values of Pride, Intrepidness, and No Limits (P.I.N.) guide our actions and decisions as we strive to create a positive and supportive learning environment. We wear our P.I.N. with pride, and we encourage our students to do the same.

Extended Services

We offer a range of extended services to support our students and their families. These include a late-stay programme, a breakfast club, and extracurricular activities that promote social, emotional, and physical development.

Governance

Our Governing Body is made up of parents, teachers, and members of the community who work together to ensure that our school is well-governed and operates effectively. The Governors are responsible for setting the school's strategic direction, overseeing the school's finances, and ensuring that we are meeting the needs of our students.

PTA

Our Parents, Teachers, and Association (PTA) is a registered charity that supports the school and our students in various ways. The PTA organises events, raises funds, and provides resources to enhance our students' educational experiences.
