At Hala Pet Stores, we are proud to be Lancaster's longest-serving pet shop, dedicated to providing top-quality products and exceptional customer service to pet owners in and around Lancaster. Our family-run independent pet store is situated on the south side of Lancaster, with ample free parking available directly outside the shop.
Our Story
Our story began when Sarah Jayne Bleasdale, a familiar face to the shop, took over the reins from previous owner Steven Atkin in 2022. Sarah's passion for animal health, welfare, and nutrition is reflected in every aspect of the store, from the care of the animals on site to the products she chooses to stock. Since taking over, Sarah has transformed the shop, introducing new products, and renovating the animal room to create a peaceful and beautiful environment for all the animals.
Our Services
At Hala Pet Stores, we offer a wide range of services to cater to all your pet's needs. Our online presence focuses on our locally made high-quality dog and cat foods, but in-store, you'll find an extensive selection of products, including pet foods, bedding substrates, toys, treats, small animal housing, dog coats, collars, and leads. We are also proud stockists of 'Natures Menu' RAW food, and you'll find the full range in store.
In addition to our product range, we have a wonderful 'Animal Room' that is home to a variety of animals, including budgies, cockatiels, tropical and coldwater fish, hamsters, and guinea pigs. Our animal room is a must-visit, and our two charming residents, Snowy the Cockatoo and Crumpet the Tortoise, are always happy to meet new friends.
Our Online Shop
Our online shop is designed to make shopping convenient and easy for you. With shipping costs from just 10.49 for orders up to 27kg, we can dispatch orders quickly and efficiently within 2 working days to ensure your pet is always happy and healthy, no matter where you live in the country. Please note that not everything we display on our website is available in our shop, so if you want to pop in for something you like, please give us a call or send us an email to enquire about availability. We can order certain items for collection at our shop, and we'll send you a handy reminder when it will be available for collection, saving you time and effort in your busy lives.
