The Light House Christian Care Ministry is a charitable organisation based in Coventry, Warwickshire, providing counselling and supervision services to individuals, couples, and agencies from a wide area around Coventry, Warwickshire, and the West Midlands. Our team of fully qualified and experienced counsellors, along with student counsellors on placement, offers a safe, confidential, and non-judgemental space for you to discuss your issues and find solutions.

Our Services

Our counselling services are designed to help individuals overcome various issues such as anxiety, relationships, bereavement, addictions, sexual abuse, depression, stress, and post-traumatic stress disorder. We also provide couple counselling, helping partners to build stronger and healthier relationships. Our counsellors are trained to listen and provide guidance, enabling you to find ways to overcome your challenges.

In addition to our counselling services, we also offer supervision services for counsellors, providing them with the support and guidance they need to develop their skills and practice. Our team is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment, where individuals can feel comfortable sharing their concerns and working towards positive change.

Our History and Aims

The Light House was founded in 1986 as a charity, with the vision to provide affordable and accessible quality counselling to all in need. Our mission is to relieve distress and suffering, promote emotional health and well-being, and enable healthier relationships. Our team is dedicated to creating a safe space for individuals to explore their issues, without fear of judgement or criticism.

Our Team

Our team is led by our Agency Manager, supported by a team of associate counsellors and student counsellors on placement. Our associate counsellors are fully qualified and registered members of one of the accredited registers held by the UK counselling professional bodies. They receive on-going formal clinical supervision, ensuring they provide the best possible support to our clients. Our Trustees provide oversight and management guidance, ensuring the organisation operates in line with its vision and mission.
