Christchurch Pre School Playgroup

At Christ Church Episcopal Preschool, we are dedicated to providing a nurturing, developmentally appropriate Christian environment for children as they become independent lifelong learners. Our mission is to foster a love of learning, creativity, and social-emotional growth in each child, while introducing them to the Christian faith.

Our Approach to Early Childhood Education

Our theme-based curriculum is designed to introduce preschool skills such as letter, letter sounds, and number recognition using a multi-sensory approach. We believe in providing a balance of free centers, creative art, dramatic play, physical movement, and recreation, within both small group and whole class experiences. Our curriculum includes free and directed exploration to encourage and develop a love of life-long learning. Chapel is an integral part of our weekly schedule, where children learn about God's unconditional love through songs and prayers.

Nurture, Grow, and Enrich

At Christ Church Episcopal Preschool, we focus on nurturing free exploration and play, creativity, child-directed activities, social-emotional growth, fine and gross motor development, and develop a love of learning and critical thinking. We offer extended activities to enrich our programs, including enrichment programs such as on and off campus field trips, puppet shows, handwriting, phonemic awareness, and math programs.

2024-2025 Programs

We offer a range of programs to cater to different age groups and needs. Our programs include 2-Day Two-Year Old Class, 3-Day Three-Year Old Class, 4-Day PreK Class, and 5-Day JK Class. Each program is designed to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for children to grow and develop.

Enrichment Programs

Our enrichment programs are designed to provide additional learning experiences for our children. These programs include on and off campus field trips, puppet shows, handwriting programs, phonemic awareness, and math programs. We believe that these programs help to enrich our children's learning experience and provide them with a well-rounded education.
