Counselling in the Community (CitC) is a warm and welcoming local charity in Blackpool, Wyre and the Fylde, dedicated to making mental health support accessible to everyone. We understand that accessing mainstream services can be challenging, which is why we offer confidential, non-judgmental therapy at an affordable cost.
Our Services
Our experienced and qualified counsellors provide individual therapy sessions to children, adolescents and adults. We offer a range of therapeutic approaches, including:
- Person-Centred Therapy - focusing on building a strong therapeutic relationship and supporting you to find your own solutions.
- Pluralistic Therapy - tailoring our approach to your needs and utilizing various techniques to best support you.
- CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy) - learning to identify and change negative thought patterns and behaviours that impact your life.

We understand that every individual is unique, so we offer sessions with counsellors who have diverse backgrounds and expertise to ensure you receive the best possible care. Our services are tailored to your individual needs, and there is no age limit for our support.

We are thrilled to announce the opening of our brand-new Children's Centre in Bispham! We are passionate about supporting the mental health of young people in the Fylde Coast area and are committed to providing accessible and affordable counselling services for children and adolescents.
