Frimley Green Pre-school is a community-based establishment, affiliated with the Pre-school Learning Alliance, that has been proudly serving the Frimley Green area for over 40 years. Our commitment to child-led learning and In The Moment Planning ensures that every child receives the best possible start to their educational journey.
Our pre-school is located within the Community Centre on Balmoral Drive, Frimley, Surrey, and we are proud to have formed an integral part of this community for several decades. We are dedicated to providing a safe, secure, and stimulating environment where children can learn and grow at their own pace.
Our team of warm and happy staff members are passionate about creating a welcoming atmosphere for all children. We understand the importance of building strong bonds with our children, including new starters who quickly settle in and engage in play. Our staff prioritise making children feel safe and secure, allowing them to confidently approach and build relationships with us.
We believe that having a range of resources available is crucial to engaging children in play and encouraging their development. To facilitate this, we regularly rotate our resources to reflect the children's interests, ensuring that there is always something new and exciting to discover. Additionally, our pre-school features a spacious, free-flow garden that is utilised in all weathers. This outdoor area extends children's learning opportunities and allows us to provide appropriate clothing for them to explore and engage with the environment.
Our most recent Ofsted report (November 2022) highlights the comfort and confidence children feel when entering our pre-school, stating, "Children are very comfortable entering the pre-school and quickly engage in play. They are greeted by warm and happy staff who make children feel safe and secure. Children feel comfortable approaching staff and have a strong bond. This includes new children to the pre-school who are quick to settle."
