At Adelaide Veterinary Centre, we pride ourselves on providing professional care for precious paws. With a history dating back to 1985, we have been dedicated to caring for your pets as if they are our own. Originally founded in Lowford before moving to our current site in Bursledon in 1988, our team has been committed to building relationships with you and your pet.
Our Services
We offer a range of services to ensure your pet's health and wellbeing. Our New Puppy Pack and Kitten Care services provide essential care for your new furry friends, while our Rabbits and Small and Exotic Pets services cater to the unique needs of these special pets. Our Pet Health Plan is a convenient way to support your pet's health while saving money. We also offer a range of services including ultrasound, digital x-rays, and modern surgery theatre facilities.
Our Team
Our team of five experienced small animal vets, aided by a team of nurses and receptionists, are dedicated to looking after your pets. We aim to provide continuity of care, ensuring your pet is treated by a familiar face. We also allow surgical cases to be admitted from 8am and collected up until 6pm to fit into your busy schedule.

Our team is led by Clinical Director Scott Hughes, who joined Adelaide in 2018. Scott is joined by a team of experienced vets, including Miguel Lopes, who has a background in referral hospitals and emergency medicine. Our team is committed to providing top-quality veterinary care, and we would be delighted to welcome you and your pet to our practice.
