Our Cottage
Our self-catering holiday cottage is equipped with modern conveniences, including a fully-fitted kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, and a sunroom with access to a balcony, patio, and garden. We provide all linen, and you'll find a range of books, games, and videos to keep you entertained during your stay. The cottage is also child-friendly, with secure dry accommodation for bicycles.

Rose Cottage is the perfect base for exploring the local area, with plenty of walks and cycle routes right from the cottage door. We're close to interesting places, famous gardens, and adventure sites, and we're more than happy to provide guides and maps for your favourite days out. You'll find excellent local food and eating out options nearby too.

We've held the highest award of the Green Tourism Business Scheme, Gold, for ten years, and we're committed to making our cottage as environmentally friendly as possible. We actively encourage local wildlife with feeding stations, hedgehog and insect houses, and nest and bat boxes.

Our cottage is a wildlife lover's paradise. You can spot local wildlife, including bank voles, dippers, kingfishers, and if you're lucky, otters and polecats, from the comfort of the sunroom. We've created a wildflower area in the garden, and we provide wildlife information to help you make the most of your stay.
