ABC Tots, a private childcare nursery based in Armadale, is dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing environment where young children can develop and grow. We accept children from the age of 0 to 5 years, and our opening times are from Monday to Friday, 7.15am - 6.15pm. Our staff are carefully selected and undergo rigorous PVG checks before being employed with us, and are then required to register with SSSC within 6 months of their start date.
At ABC Tots, we are proud to be in partnership with the West Lothian Council, allowing us to provide funded spaces for 3 and 4 year olds. We also offer a drop-off and pick-up service to and from local council nurseries, making the transition between nurseries as smooth as possible for your child.
Our Nursery Rooms
Our nursery is an open plan space, with a separate room for 2-5 year olds and another for under 2's. However, children are able to move between these rooms as their development allows, ensuring they receive the right level of care and stimulation for their age. We aim to provide a positive and stimulating environment for all children.
Playtime
Playtime is a crucial part of a child's development, and at ABC Tots, we recognise this. We encourage children to take play seriously and to concentrate on their activities for longer periods of time. Playtime is also an opportunity for children to learn social and physical skills, and to sharpen their cognitive abilities.
Extras
In addition to our regular services, we also offer a weekly Planet Soccer class for children over 3 years. This is an extra cost, but provides an excellent opportunity for children to learn social and physical skills through ball games, while having fun and making new friends.
