About me

I am a qualified and experienced counsellor, committed to providing a safe and supportive space for individuals and couples to explore personal growth, overcome challenges, and achieve lasting change. I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their ethical framework. I am also an accredited supervisor, helping other counsellors in their professional development.

My background includes working with adults and young people facing diverse challenges such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, sexual difficulties, abuse, trauma, stress, bereavement, and low self-esteem. I believe in the power of personal growth and collaborative therapy to facilitate lasting positive change.

What to expect

Our initial session will be an opportunity to get to know each other and discuss your specific concerns. We can explore your goals and desired outcomes, creating a tailored plan to address your needs. In my sessions, you can expect:

  • Active listening: I provide a non-judgmental and confidential space for you to express your thoughts and feelings openly.
  • Compassion and empathy: I understand the emotional burden of various challenges and offer genuine support and encouragement.
  • Professional guidance: I have extensive experience and knowledge to offer practical strategies and tools to manage your concerns and develop coping mechanisms.
  • Collaboration: We will work together to identify solutions and achieve lasting change.

My Approach and Qualifications

I draw on various therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Interventions, and Trauma-Informed Practice. I hold advanced qualifications in Counselling & Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Couples Counselling, and various other relevant areas.
