Welcome to Channelkirk Primary School, a small, happy, and thriving primary school nestled in the Lauderdale hills in the village of Oxton near Lauder. Our Services

We offer a range of services to support our pupils' learning and development. Our school day is structured to provide a balance of academic and extracurricular activities, including a nutritious school meal programme, physical education, and a range of clubs and activities. We also provide support for learners through our Support for Learning team, who work closely with teachers and parents to ensure that every child receives the support they need to succeed.

Our Early Years provision is designed to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for our youngest learners. Our experienced Early Years team provides a range of activities and experiences that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.

We believe that parents and the wider community play a vital role in our pupils' education, and we actively encourage involvement through our Parent Zone, which provides regular updates on school news, events, and activities. We also have a range of policies and procedures in place to ensure the safety and well-being of our pupils, including a robust safeguarding policy and a commitment to promoting respect, kindness, and inclusivity.
