Our Care Home is registered and inspected by Care and Social Services Inspectorate Wales (CSSIW), and we take great pride in our latest inspection report, which states that "people using the service are treated with dignity and respect and are able to exercise preference and choice in most areas of their life."
Our Services
We offer a range of services designed to support our residents in achieving their individual goals and aspirations. Our Life Skills programme encourages residents to develop essential skills such as basic home cleaning, meal preparation, shopping, and personal laundering. We also provide care and support for residents who require assistance with daily tasks such as washing, dressing, and moving around the house.
Our staff work closely with each resident to create a personalized care plan that addresses their unique needs and goals. We believe in promoting independence and encouraging our residents to take an active role in their care. We also recognize the importance of social interaction and provide opportunities for residents to engage in meaningful activities, pursue their hobbies, and participate in leisure activities.
Our Facilities
Cae Melyn Group Home is a spacious dormer-style bungalow providing single-room accommodation for up to ten residents. Our home is situated on the outskirts of Welshpool, with easy access to all community facilities. Our facilities are designed to promote comfort and independence, with modern amenities such as alarm bells, fire precautions, and fully-furnished rooms. We also have a beautiful garden that residents can use and maintain, as well as a games room and lounges for socializing and relaxation.
