D & H Surveys Ltd is a well-established land and measured building surveying company that has been operating for over forty years. Based in Wiltshire, we are situated on the M4 corridor, allowing us to cover the entirety of the South of England, from London to Penzance. Our mission is to provide our clients with high-quality surveying services, ensuring that we meet their specific needs and requirements.

Our Services

At D & H Surveys Ltd, we offer a comprehensive range of surveying options for our clients to choose from, including topographical surveys, monitoring, floor plans, elevations, and cross-sections of buildings. Our experienced team of surveyors use the latest technology and equipment to produce accurate and detailed surveys, ensuring that our clients receive the highest quality data.

In addition to land and measured building surveys, we also offer hydrographic surveys, boundary surveys, 3D laser scanning, and volumetric surveys. Our hydrographic surveys are used for river, floodplain, and inland marina surveys, and are approved by the Environmental Agency. Our boundary surveys are based on Ordnance Survey grid and OS baseplan data, allowing for boundary position checking and land registry compliant plans. Our 3D laser scanning services use the latest HDS technology to produce 3D pointcloud data of buildings and structures, which can then be manipulated to produce floor plans, sections, and elevations. We can also provide the raw point cloud data for Revit projects.

Our building surveys provide accurate measured building surveys, with 2D floor plans, sections, and detailed elevations for planning applications, building refurbishment, or analysing workflow of office space. Our volumetric surveys offer accurate measurement of tips, quarries, landfill sites, and other excavation projects, establishing fill quantities and excavation volumes.

Our managing director, Kyle Hourigan, leads the team with passion and dedication, ensuring that we exceed our clients' expectations. Peter James-Stephen, our associate, brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to the team. Geoff Howe, our senior surveyor, is an expert in the field of surveying, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.

At D & H Surveys Ltd, we are proud to work with trusted associates, including Robin Williams & Associates, a highly respected and experienced garden and landscape design company. Robin has over 40 years of experience in creating functional and beautiful gardens, and is a fellow of the Society of Garden Designers (FSGD), a member of the British Association of Landscape Industries (MBALI), and a fellow of the Association of Professional Landscape Designers, USA (FAPLD). Robin continues to work as a designer and a judge for these organisations.
