About Tricia Daniel

Tricia Daniel, BSc (Hons), has been practising yoga since 1978 and began teaching in 2002. She obtained her Integral Yoga teaching qualification at the Bath Integral Yoga Centre in 2001 and has since completed various workshops, seminars, and courses, including Structural Yoga Therapy, Yoga for preventing accidents and injuries, Yoga for Anxiety and Depression, and Yoga for ME and Chronic Fatigue. Tricia's extensive 28-year yoga practice includes Viniyoga, Integral Yoga, Sivananda Yoga, Therapy Yoga, and Chi Gung. She is on the Register of Exercise Professionals and continues to study regularly.

Tricia's passion for yoga began in her college years when a friend introduced her to the practice. She took it up more seriously in her mid-twenties and found it to be an effective tool for managing stress and maintaining a healthy spine. In her early forties, Tricia faced a life-changing illness that led her to give up her accountancy career and focus on sharing the benefits of yoga with others.

GentleLight Yoga is a reflection of Tricia's personal journey and her belief that an authentic experience of appropriate yoga practice can benefit everyone. Her teaching style is profoundly nurturing, and her sessions and classes are always guided by the changing needs of the individual.
