Culwood House is a boutique care home located in the heart of Chesham, Buckinghamshire. Established in 1988, our family-run care home provides a unique, warm, and friendly environment for our 17 residents. We take pride in our smaller size, which allows us to build closer relationships with our residents and cater to their individual needs on a more personal level.
Our Services

- A beautifully maintained garden and Summer House, perfect for relaxation and socializing
- Access to a communal lounge, dining room, and conservatory
- Specially adapted bathrooms and a nurse call system throughout the home

Culwood House was founded in 1988 by Mrs. Anita Larkin, who has a passion for providing exceptional care and support to the elderly. Anita's journey in the care home business began over 40 years ago, and she has continued to build a reputation for delivering high-quality care and support. Today, Culwood House is a testament to Anita's dedication and commitment to providing a warm, welcoming, and supportive environment for our residents.
Meet the Team
Our team is led by Anita Larkin, Proprietor and Managing Director, and Rachel Elton-Jones, Registered Manager and Director. Together, they bring a wealth of experience and expertise in the care home sector. Our team is comprised of a deputy manager, care support manager, administration manager, team leader, senior care assistants, care assistants, chefs, and housekeeping staff, all dedicated to providing exceptional care and support to our residents.
