Our founder, Vanessa Hammond, is a registered and accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) with over a decade of experience in the field.

At our practice, we offer both counselling and coaching services tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual. Counselling is a form of therapy that focuses on addressing feelings and emotions that may be causing discomfort or distress. We understand that taking the first step towards counselling can be daunting, and offer a free, no-obligation 30-minute meeting to help you determine if we may be a good fit. Our counselling sessions are designed to enable you to become more authentically yourself and less driven by external conditioning, as you explore your thinking habits and patterns and become more open to new options.

Coaching, on the other hand, is a more solution-focused approach that helps you explore what you want from your life and how to make it more fulfilling. Through coaching, we can work together to identify your goals and values, and develop strategies to achieve them. Coaching can be particularly helpful for individuals seeking to make changes in their personal or professional lives.

How We Work

At the beginning of our therapeutic work, we recommend meeting weekly to allow the therapeutic relationship to develop and work effectively. We will review our work often to gauge if we are coming to an end or if you wish to continue, allowing you to assess your goals and progress as we proceed. Our sessions are 50 minutes long and are held exclusively online using video or voice calls, allowing us to work with you regardless of your location.

As a registered and accredited member of the BACP, we are bound by their Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy and are subject to their Professional Conduct Procedure. We value the trust and confidentiality placed in us by our clients, and are committed to providing a professional and ethical service.
