Our Story
Our practice was founded by David Francis BVetMed BSc(hons) BVetMed MRCVS, who envisioned a veterinary clinic that would provide advanced treatment methods while maintaining traditional values of personal customer service, professionalism, integrity, and community spirit. Our team consists of equine veterinary surgeons, small animal surgeons, veterinary nurses, and administration staff who work together to ensure that every pet receives the care they deserve.
Our Services
We offer a comprehensive range of services for horses and small animals, including routine check-ups, vaccinations, dental care, surgical procedures, and emergency care. Our equine services include advanced diagnostic techniques, lameness assessment, and treatment of various conditions such as atypical myopathy, equine metabolic syndrome, and PPID/Cushing's disease. For small animals, we provide wellness screenings, dental care, and treatment of conditions like arthritis, atopic dermatitis, and hyperthyroidism in cats.
Our Commitment
Our commitment to advanced veterinary treatment extends beyond our highly trained team. We have a wider team of colleagues, including visiting veterinary consultants with specific expertise, who regularly visit our practice to offer treatments such as orthopaedic surgery, soft tissue surgery, advanced dentistry, and remedial acupuncture. We also have an expert Farrier who provides regular and remedial shoeing.
