Holbrook Hall

Welcome to Holbrook Hall, a residential care home for the elderly, providing high-quality, professional care in a beautiful and peaceful setting. Our home is situated just outside Derby in the picturesque Derbyshire countryside, surrounded by 4 acres of lawn, woodland, fruit trees, and rose gardens.

Our home has a rich history, dating back to the 17th century, and was converted into a care home in 1985 by the Vaughan family. Since then, we have been privileged to care for many elderly people, whether it be for short-term respite care, day care, or permanent residency. Our home provides enviable accommodation, including a beautiful drawing room with original wood panelling, a large lounge with a 'listed' fireplace, an elegant dining room, and a sunny conservatory. We have 35 fine individual bedrooms, the majority with en-suite facilities or wet rooms, with superb views across the adjacent gardens and beautiful countryside.

At Holbrook Hall, we strive to care for our residents in a manner that embraces "Good Care Practice" and will endeavour to achieve a standard of excellence in all aspects of our service. We offer a range of services, including short-term respite care, day care, and permanent residency. Our home is designed to provide a comfortable and relaxing environment, where our residents can feel at home.

Our facilities include 24-hour care by highly qualified, experienced staff, superb home cooking using fresh locally sourced produce, and special diets catered for. Beverages are available at all times, and we have a full fire detection and secondary lighting system, closed-circuit security cameras, and a loop system in lounges for the hearing impaired. Our home also features automatic passenger lifts and stair lifts, making it easy for our residents to move around.

We have a daily activity program, including outings arranged to areas of local interest, visiting local entertainers, and a visiting mobile laundry. Our residents can also enjoy the use of our computer area, providing Skype and Wi-Fi access throughout the majority of the building. Our home is designed to provide a comfortable and relaxing environment, where our residents can feel at home.
