At Lakeland Optical, our mission is to provide friendly, honest, affordable, and professional eye care for the whole community. As an independent optician, we are dedicated to providing a personal and tailored service to each and every one of our customers. Our team, led by owner and optometrist Lisa Sariwee, are committed to using modern optical equipment, individually sourced frames, and endless lens options to ensure that every patient receives a one-to-one service that meets their unique needs.
Our Services
We offer a comprehensive range of optician services, including eye examinations, emergency eye appointments, community eye care services, and advice on eye health. Our wide range of frames is carefully selected to cater to all tastes and budgets, and we also offer audiology services, including assessment and hearing aid packages. Additionally, we provide complete priced spectacles, thinner lenses, varifocals, and bifocals, as well as a repair service for broken glasses. We also offer children's eye testing and contact lenses for occasional or everyday use, with a free trial available.
Our Team
Our team is made up of experienced and dedicated professionals, including Lisa Sariwee, our practice owner and optometrist, who has been qualified since 1998. Our receptionist and optical assistant, Leah Deverill, is friendly, efficient, and confident, and is keen to learn and grow in the world of optics. Our dispensing optician, Lorraine Bleasdale, has over 31 years of experience in the optical profession and is a qualified dispensing optician. She is an ABDO board member and has a keen interest in children's dispensing.
