Home Boarding Kennels

Home Boarding Kennels was established in 2019 following a significant career change for its owner, who transitioned from urban life to rural living to pursue a passion for canine care. The business operates from a licensed farmhouse in Shropshire, offering a home-from-home environment for dogs with a focus on comfort, safety, and individual attention. Our team includes certified pet first aiders and two resident dogs, Mia and Marley, who help integrate visiting pets into the environment. We adhere to strict standards through membership in the Association of Dog Boarders and maintain a Shropshire Council licence for day care and boarding. The induction process includes meet-and-greet sessions and trial visits to ensure dogs adapt well.

With a maximum capacity of ten dogs, we prioritise quality over quantity, providing spacious grounds for exercise and access to surrounding countryside. Our approach combines personal experience with professional training to deliver tailored care, reflecting a deep understanding of canine needs. Client testimonials highlight the success of our gentle integration methods and the visible happiness of boarded dogs. We serve multiple counties, including Herefordshire, Staffordshire, and Worcestershire, and maintain transparent communication through regular updates and a dedicated contact line.
