Our Story
As a family of farmers and butchers for seven generations, we've always been passionate about the importance of local, high-quality food. Our story began in 1960 when our grandfather, Herbert Brown, bought Redcliffe Farm. Over the years, our family has expanded our egg production and wholesale business, selling thousands of boxes of eggs every week around Scarborough, Bridlington, Teeside, and North Yorkshire. In 2007, we opened our farm shop, which has since become a hub for locals and visitors alike.
Our Services
Our farm shop is a treasure trove of artisan produce, including fresh fruit and vegetables, locally sourced meats from our own farm and other local farms, and a range of delicious cakes, savouries, and pies baked fresh in our on-site bakery. We're also proud to stock a range of local specialities, including honey from Flixton, Botham's of Whitby cakes and biscuits, Baytown Coffee, Wold Top Beers, and Whitby Gin. Our 60-seater cafe serves up mouth-watering breakfasts, lunches, and afternoon treats, using only the freshest ingredients and traditional cooking methods.
