Welcome to our podiatry clinic, where we prioritize providing exceptional foot care services to our clients. Our team is led by Susan Moffatt, Bsc (Hons).Pod. Med. MRCPod. HCPC.reg, the proprietor and lead podiatrist. Susan has been a practicing podiatrist since 2001, and she has gained extensive experience working in the private sector all over the North West. She specializes in biomechanics, covering foot, ankle, knee, hip, and back pain, as well as children's foot care. Susan has a Prescription Only Medicines certificate, which allows her to prescribe medications for foot conditions. She regularly attends CPD training courses to keep up with the latest developments in podiatry.

Our associate podiatrist, Iulia Rusu, Bsc (Hons).Pod. Med. MSc. MRCPod. HCPC, joined our team in 2020. Iulia graduated with a Master of Theory of Podiatric Surgery from Huddersfield University and has experience working in private practice and for the NHS Manchester University Trust Foundation. She specializes in diabetic clinics and dealing with high-risk conditions such as peripheral arterial disease, doing lower limb vascular assessments, and all treatments of podiatry. Iulia has a Prescription Only Medicines certificate, and she regularly attends CPD courses covering the latest methods of treatment.

• General foot care: We provide routine foot care such as nail cutting, hard skin removal, and callus reduction.
• Diabetes: We offer diabetic foot assessments and provide education on foot care for people with diabetes.
• Verruca treatments: We offer various verruca treatments, including chemical and Falknor's Needling.
• Nail surgery: We perform nail surgery for ingrown toenails or thickened nails.
• Lacuna fungal nail fenestration: We offer this innovative treatment for fungal nail infections.
• Dermal fill for painful corns: We provide this effective treatment for painful corns.
• Foot Mobilisation Therapy: We offer this gentle manual therapy that aims to improve foot function and reduce pain.
• Nail Reconstruction: We provide this treatment for damaged or deformed nails.
• Muscular skeletal biomechanics: We assess the biomechanics of the foot and lower limb and provide bespoke orthotic prescription.
• Advice on exercises and strapping: We provide advice on exercises and strapping to help manage foot pain and improve function.
• Shockwave Therapy: We use this non-surgical treatment for soft tissue injuries and chronic pain.
• Prescription medication relating to foot infections: We can prescribe medication for foot infections.
• Vascular/neurological assessment: We assess the vascular and neurological status of the lower limb.
• Reflexology: We offer this holistic treatment that aims to reduce stress, promote health and wellbeing.

Covid-19 Update

We are fully open and offer all appointments. Our standards of practice are still at its highest level. Our podiatrists have experience in all areas of podiatry to cater for all your needs. We have reviewed our risk assessment and have relaxed some of the PPE Podiatrist need to wear. If you feel generally unwell with cold/flu symptoms, please rearrange your appointment within 24 hours notice.
