Our Company History
Gordon Overthrow Glazing Ltd is a local company established in 1982. We are friendly, reliable, responsive and committed to customer service. Gordon and son Andrew Overthrow started the business in 1982, providing General Glazing for homes and businesses across the region. Gordon retired in 1999 and Andrew took over the daily running of the business. Approaching 25 years in the industry has provided the company with the knowledge to offer a modern and comprehensive range of PVC and Aluminium products. We are able to provide complete and practical advice on the best available options to all our customers.
Our Services
We cater to both Domestic and Commercial markets, providing a range of solutions for all your Window and Door requirements. Our domestic installations include replacement of sealed units, replacement windows in PVC and Aluminium systems, secondary glazing, doors, and roofline cladding. Our commercial installations include emergency exit doors, automatic opening doors, concealed closers, curtain walling systems, glass partitioning, and Venetian stripped glass.
Our Commitment to Quality and Safety
All our work is guaranteed and we are members of FENSA, GGF, FMB and Construction line. Our company policy is to always remove all debris from site and dispose of it in a controlled manner, leaving customers' property in a clean and respectful condition. We use dust sheets to ensure clients' property is protected, and our staff are always in company clothing and use company vehicles. Health and Safety training is undertaken by all personnel, and risk assessments are carried out on all aspects of our business. Our H&S policy is available for viewing in our office.
Our Standards
All our glazing work is to BS standards, and our company policy is to follow safety glazing regulations at all times for safety and security. We are proud members of the following Industry Organisations: Fensa registered, Glass and Glazing Federation Member, FMB Member, and MyGlazing Member. We are also approved contractors for Denbighshire County Council, Conwy County Borough Council, Conwy and Denbighshire NHS Trust, and North Wales Fire Service.
